Southwest in the Southeast

Scott is making home-made chili tonight, a pot with steak for him and a pot with morningstar crumbles for me.

I made some salsa and guacamole too, now I'm hanging on the couch trying not to eat ALL the guacamole.

My salsa has been pretty popular down here, and my secret is using a little balsamic vinegar and at least three kinds of tomatoes.

I like chili, and put those crumbles in mine, too.

I made chili for a crowd of Aaron's students on Tuesday. Only 1 showed up. Oh, well. We ate a lot of chili. And gave some away. I want to try some of your salsa and guacamole. I LOVE guacamole....!!!!

Or you could just be like me, cut up the avacado and eat the whole thing with a spoon.
Whoops.

yeah, I do that sometimes, too. The guac only made it two days, I finished it on nachos last night...

Yum. If you could pass that my way, I'd be appreciative. I'm thinking of going home to a 15 cent cup-o-noodles. YAY!!!

Morningstar crumbles are DELISH. We use them in soooo many things.

BTW, congratulations on the upcoming wedding. =) My eighth anniversary is Sunday and I still remember all of the planning and fretting. Everything will be just fine - remember to breathe. =)
