Today is Scott's last day of work here in Key West. We are narrowing down places to live in Georgia and have only 13 days before we are planning to leave.
Today the company in Bingen, WA emailed Scott and asked him to call for an interview.
I feel like my emotions have been run through a cement mixer and splatted out onto the road.
If that wasn't enough to make me just sit down and cry, last night my bosses told me they are pregnant. She is 36 and has been off birth control for about six months.
I'm 32 and have been off birth control for TWO YEARS.
I can honestly say this is the first time since we've been "trying" that having a friend tell me they are pregnant has bothered me at all.
I'm sure it's because I have so many other things to deal with right now, but I'm really having a hard time not being actively jealous.

Ah darlin'...hang in there! One step at a time.
1st step.... hehehehehe.
Wait-- what's with the spatula?
I know what you mean about the babies. I have a friend who goes off birth control, looks at her husband sideways and gets pregnant.
Not that I am actively trying.
But it is something I do want, to be a mom.
And I thought I would have been there long ago. (Two husbands, no babies? WTF?)
Just keep at it. It took my sister and another friend a while, but now they both have beautiful babies.
You will get there.
And as for the move... It will all settle out.
Just breathe.
Bodies just seem to have their own timetables, and I'm sur the stress of all the decisions doesn't help. But I'm sorry - it's hard to see other people getting pregnant when that is what you want inyour own life.
I'm sorry its so crazy for you right now! And I'm sorry to hear that you want a baby, but it's not coming easy. My good friend is going through the exact same thing.
Well, darn the luck, you'll just have to keep on having lots of sex. That's just gotta suck.
I'll come visit you in Augusta next year. Y'know, in case you need any extra help. :)
